This is a unique combination where you get to look at what is being done to rehabilitate animals and particularly birds which have been injured, poisoned or orphaned. Enter walk crowned eagles, vultures, fish eagles and many other rap leopard cubs, play with a honey badger, look eye to eye with a lion, all at Moholoholo, then move onto the Cheetah Project which is only a 45 minute drive away. This is a unique project, which conducts essential research on endangered species and provides guests the opportunity to view animals that have found a home here, in their natural surroundings. Departure from a destination in White River / Nelspruit / Hazyview would be at 07h00 to be at the Re-hab centre by 09h30. The Programme at Moholoholo lasts approximately 2 hours. At about 12h00 we depart for the Cheetah Project to arrive there by 13h00 for lunch, which is for the guests own account. At 14h00 we enter the auditorium for a video presentation on project is all about and then we do a tour of the facility. The whole programme lasts also about 2 to 2 hours. We should be back at the Lodge by 18h30.
